A wonderful discussion on Renal Denervation Therapy at the Max CardioCon. Happy to moderate the talk by my friend Dr Ranjit Nath, Head of Cardiology, RML Hospital and to meet many old friends. Renal Denervation is gradually getting traction. #RDN @HolyFamilyHosp1 @DharanShashi @mohitbhagwati

I am excited to share that I have been granted Fellowship status by International College of Cardiology. I am deeply thankful for this recognition, which symbolizes the collective efforts of all those who have supported me on this journey. @HolyFamilyHosp1 @mohitbhagwati @vkataria @DharanShashi

@jedicath Only question is, can such lesions develop within 3-4 days of the procedure if only due to infection?

Possible, as it was a CTO intervention, however the angio CD received of the index procedure shows a good final result with no signs of perforation, will post those images tomorrow. Is it possible to have late perforation? As patient does gives history of exerting to get on the bed and having sever sweating and giddyness.

@Pardhu6627 Yes, he has low grade fever, but was wondering if it is possible to develop such abscesses so soon after angioplasty?

@JoySanyal74 I was also thinking on the sme lines, but was wondering if DCB first to ensure penetration of the drug in the tissues followed by covered stent will be a better approach.

@abadkhan2002 This is a good case for Penumbra CatRx system, I doubt if such large thrombus can be aspirated with conventional syringe based thrombosuction devices.
