I want a safe in person September and a kindergarten program where students can PLAY and not sit at tables by themselves all day!! I want to see their smiles, and hug them when they are hurt or sad. I want to them to sing and dance and experience the joy of school!!

Absolutely NOT!!!!! 😡 This is not developmentally appropriate and beyond cruel to expect our youngest learners to sit in desks all day! It is a play based program...if play isn’t safe then we shouldn’t be going back to school!

, but there is no “front of the classroom”. It’s a play based/ inquiry program where the students are the teachers! How are you going to protect our youngest learners and their families????
“The Ont Ministry of Ed says teachers who stand at the front of the class, keeping two metres away from their students, don’t need PPE.”
Once again the Ministry confirms that they have no idea what happens in a classroom!
