Update
It is with a heavy heart that we have moved into the next phase.
After a thorough search of the coastline, we found clothing items that are a positive match. consultation with HPD, HFD, and the Coast Guard, it been determined that my Mom’s last location is the ocean.

All this paperwork was sent to me by datalink. All because I wanted to change my ETP from SFO to LAX after I was already airborne. 95% of that paperwork is just the NOTAMS for LAX 🙄

Instead of squawking 7700 while over the ocean. This is what I would be using. Select Emergency, then select from the menu on what I want. This tells ATC exactly what I’m doing and it gets them to start the coordination between aircraft and any airports that I’m diverting too.

Today we found a shirt and shoes that match what my Mom wears. We have evidence that it just washed ashore early this morning since we had drone footage the day prior and nothing was there. Mom is still missing, but it looks like she might have fallen/slipped into the ocean.

The HPD helicopter search of the Coastline was negative
HPD has canvassed the neighborhood early this morning and it’s was negative.
The HPD news release is out for approval and should be aired this afternoon
