A Farmer Training Program on Safe & Judicious Use of Pesticides was organized at Shahbad, Kurukshetra, Haryana on 11-Feb-2025 in co-ordination with KVK-Kurukshetra. The occasion was graced by Dr. Prashant Kaushik, DES(Veg. Science) 253 farmers attended the training program .

Sh.Venkateswar Rao (Shri. Padmashri Awardee ) was the chief guest. 340 farmers attended the FTP. Occasion was graced by Dr Yugandhar Principal S&H, KVK-SVVU and Dr. Ganga Devi, Sr. Scientist(Agronomist) who trained farmers on the subject. A documentary film shown to farmers.

A Farmers Training Program (FTP) was organised at Chuchura, Hoogly, West Bengal on "Safe & Judicious Use of Pesticides" on 23-01-2025. Dr Ashok Kumar Patra, Vice Chancellor, BCKV graced the event as chief guest. 288 farmers attended the FTP.

A field visit was also organised to interact with the farmers which has undertaken seed production programme for HIL and using biopesticides on various crops as a safeguard to protect from pests.
