Thank you for sharing! I am surprised that responses to LCT did not differ among patients with and without NDDs, as we often see disinhibition. I fully agree that this underscores the limitations of BFCRS in capturing the full catatonia picture in NDD.

First reported case of catatonia in a pediatric patient with MED13L haploinsufficiency syndrome. N=1, but we learned 2 key lessons: 1) if you don’t look, you may miss catatonia in rare genetic disorders 2) ECT is effective, and R/B/A discussion is nuanced.
