Week 3 of the whole school approach to restorative practice and how we appreciate positive behaviour. Attendance now 97%, punctuality outstanding, 2 behaviour incidents in one week (minimal), meet and greets and a common language of RRS being embedded! Paul Dix 🙏

2021 autumn term, 23.5% of all pupils were persistently absent. A Lead Inspector tried to tell me a schools PA at 24.1% was way too high. I agree but compared to the above - NO! Fight your corners and ensure reality is understood, we live in a new world!

I have never experienced a year like this for attendance! I have been working with schools who have gone from 96% one day and then down to 82% the day after - and I am referring to a number of schools! We will get there! 🙏❤️

Not the best of mornings. However, my friends @dsheadteacher and @SJ_Hartshorn pulled me through and now in a great headspace with a complete new vision in mind! 🙏 to good colleagues and even better friends.

@PaulGarvey4 @mattdechaine @talesofmrst @chrisdysonHT @julie_cass1 My recent experience. Inspector - 22.1% PA is too high. Me - based on what? Do you know National? Inspector - No. Me - how about 2021 National? Inspector - No. Me - what are you basing your judgement on? 😉 Challenge back!
