Hendrys been saying it for years. I disagree. It's part of the game... a game which is quite literally called snooker. All for a tournament where you're not allowed to play in for snookers. Bring in new events and try things, but don't change hard and fast rules.

The narrative in snooker seems to have changed from 'The Crucible is a magical venue with half a century of history, we must never leave' to 'Snooker has outgrown the Crucible, we simply have to go elsewhere' in about two weeks. Dizzying stuff. Pre and post Faroes for me.

Just cancelled my montly £6.99 Eurosport subscription because there's no snooker for ages. Then they offered me a full year for £19.99, so now I have a fucking year subscription. Worth it though.
I'd recommend if you're paying monthly to do the same.
