I'll be releasing a fast-paced 2.5D platformer on Steam in October. I recorded the entire process of making this game so I can cover it on my YouTube channel.

I put a few assets in there and next, I'll have to implement a lap timer because I get a bit obsessed trying to keep the momentum. It's not easy, but when you get a nice line it feels sweet =) #UnrealEngine5

@CommodoreBlog Oh, I had that one and the pieces contributed to countless custom spaceships. It's probably one of the items that got me hooked on space and I am still making spaceships today, but in 3D :)

Thanks! No, it's custom physics, I implemented the logic from this video into UE blueprints, but I could never get smooth drifting with the tire friction so I replaced that part with a simulated turning torque that shifts the angular drag to make it easy to control drifting. I'll make a video about it shortly.

I wonder if there's an Unreal Fest Gold Coast this year again, and I wish there was an Australian Unity Unite too.
