This is why I don't think @POTUS should defy the courts but let the process of appeals play out to SCOTUS, because I think *this* Supreme Court will put some form of limit on Judicial Review when it encroaches on the constitutional authorities of Congress & the Executive
Basic history lesson, which is not arguable. “Judicial review,” aka “judicial supremacy,” was created out of whole cloth by judges in 1803. It was accepted for nearly 200 years because (a) judges did not try to act as legislators; (b) judges did not use the power for their personal political ends; and (c) judges were perceived as neutral arbiters. All that ended starting in the 1960s, when the Left used supposed judicial supremacy to achieve major political ends, such as abortion, they could not accomplish legislatively. (If not for the happenstance of having a moderate Supreme Court in recent years, they would have used this vehicle to achieve complete tyranny.) Illegitimate judicial supremacy has now reached its inevitable end—any minor Left judge can be chosen by, and willingly act as a hero to and for, the Left, by acting as a tyrant and defying the rule of law for the entire American people. It is time to restore the rule of law, and the Constitution as it was written and understood when adopted.

Very rarely have Presidents defied the Supreme Court specifically (Lincoln famously did!) - typically political pressures & impeachment threat is the check and balance against defying the Supreme Court, which is the final court of Appeal in our process.
Look up the jurisdiction and function of the Supreme Court within the balance of powers in the Constitution if you're confused. The courts do not reign supreme over the other two branches of government they exist in relationship with the other two to rule on questions of legality

Never thought I'd see a poll where Gen X, Milennials, and Zoomers are all to the Right of Boomers. Dems really are just becoming the party of the past.
These are Trump's best approval numbers ever. But look at the generational breakdown. Boomers are 50/50. Millennials are +4. Gen Z is +10. I'll keep saying it: Zoomers are going to be the most right-wing generation in recent memory.
