On February 3, 2002, U2 gave a memorable halftime performance at the Super Bowl, shortly after the 9/11 attacks. They played a trio of songs, and during "Where The Streets Have No Name," the names of the victims were displayed on a backdrop. As the song ended, Bono revealed an American flag inside his jacket.
