@rwchristian Great thoughts! From what I've seen, AI is making gaming the system a lot easier.

This is a troubling situation. It sounds like situations like this happen way too often. It also brings up a lot of questions. Is education a right? Is it a state government's duty to ensure that kids are educated?
A Tennessee teen graduated with a 3.4 GPA—but he couldn’t even spell his own name. Now, he is suing his school district for failing to provide a basic education. Read @FrannieBlock’s exclusive report:

@readtoyourkid I find it so frustrating that a system that is supposedly for teaching kids gets in the way of learning in so many ways. I don't get how we've kept doing this for generations.

@Q73204123Q I don't envy teachers. It's got to be hard to try and interest a classroom of kids who aren't interested. Especially if they've been through years of being pushed to learn, day after day.

@KentleighE Thanks for sharing this! I'm curious about your comment. Do you mean it's good advice for teaching kids, and not adults?

@rwchristian Thanks for your thoughts on this! What are your thoughts on how the structure of the school system impedes the learning process?

@TimeTrekFam Thanks for your thoughts on this! I wonder if less repetition is necessary if the timing is right.

Parents, if your child is going through something similar, please listen to them. The school system is causing serious problems for many kids. It may be necessary to get your child out of school if you can.
Last week a parent was telling me about their highly anxious child who isn’t going to school. They had gone to see a counsellor, and after hours of coaxing and preparation they got to the room. The first question (after names and introductions)?

@WonderWomaNinja Lol! Yeah I try not to think of that when I eat them. I guess a lot of food is kind of gross if you think about it though...

@griswold Society is made of individuals. If the needs of individuals are met, society will be fine.

@TimeTrekFam while the mood is on. Millions of people teach themselves these things — it really isn’t very hard." I often wonder about this. Perhaps the actual time is longer, but it's certainly nowhere near the time spent in school.
