الموكا وصفة حديثة وليست تاريخية وهي مزج القهوة بالشوكولاتة يعني اليمن مالها في الموضوع لا ناقة ولا جمل. بل بالعكس مسمى قهوة التي يندرج منها كل مسميات القهوة بكل اللغات جاءت من السعودية أرض العرب واللغة العربية والفصاحة ومنها انتشر هذا المشروب لكل العالم. أما اليمن فيشربون قشورها.
