A lot of brains are going to break over the next 4 years. This is just my opinion, but I think we all construct our realities from the various bits and bobs we've collected over the years. We construct mental models that inform us how the world "works". This is termed "lens" 🧵

@jarvis_best I wouldn't say that. There are lots of people who are exceptionally good at jackhammering, digging holes, or carrying heavy objects. Everyone has their gifting.

Not a lawyer. Opinion: While the overarching facts seem to point to collusion, there's just no way to prove it in a court of law. Moving past the sale is great, but legally, i don't think you could make the case considering all of the layers the money went through. It would be great if the Overton window changed, but I doubt it could be proven in a court of law.

Oh, come off it. Don't straddle the fence. Ya'll have been there for way too long to make this claim. The problem with the whole thing is "proper procedure and channels". Nothing actually gets done. All it takes is one professional bureaucrat to make a pigs breakfast. The American people spoke, they don't care about bureaucratic anxiety because they don't trust them anymore. The revelations about what taxpayers have actually been funding is truly amazing. The people asked for a hammer, and they have one.

It hasn't even been 2 weeks. Absolutely hilarious.
I just had a good call with President Trump. Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan — reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl. Nearly 10,000 frontline personnel are and will be working on protecting the border.  In addition, Canada is making new commitments to appoint a Fentanyl Czar, we will list cartels as terrorists, ensure 24/7 eyes on the border, launch a Canada- U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering. I have also signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl and we will be backing it with $200 million.  Proposed tariffs will be paused for at least 30 days while we work together.

@cenkuygur USAID has been a racket to launder money around the globe and fund color revolutions to topple governments. I'd think you would be one of the first people to say, "OF COURSE, it should be shut down." Who's paying you, Cenk?

I really dont get "you guys." Yes, there are very wealthy people who have access to levers of power that us common folk don't have access to. I'm not in love with that. It's just reality though. I am rooting for the exposure of multigenerational corruption. I'm ok with stopping taxpayers' dollars going to terrorists groups. I'm ok with the USA no longer funding coups in foreign countries. I'm ok with stopping money to NGOs that facilitate color revolutions. I don't want my tax dollars funding Biolabs in Ukraine or China. Call me crazy if you want.

My grandfather was born in the USA. My grandmother was Mexican. They got married and came to the states. It's hard for Americans to understand how much Mexicans hate that they lost the war, or that people from the USA call themselves Americans. But really, Everyone wants American wages and Mexican prices and the better parts of the freedoms either offers.
