@ColinSNewsday Lundqvist in 2014 carried an $8.5M AAV, the salary cap was $69M = 12.31% of the cap. $11M AAV in 2025, with a projected cap of $92.5M = 11.89% of the cap. Projected cap increases for next 2 years is expected at 5%, (~$4M), so Shesty's % will take up less space quicker than Hank

@ChasinPucks @ESPNRefNHL I've never berated or assaulted a youth official, but quite obviously (as evidenced by these things continuing to happen) many meatheads can't discern between the two. So perhaps the overall sports culture needs to be looked at. When it's glorified on TV, monkey see monkey do.

@AzoffBrendan 30 games remaining, 6 points out of WC2 what do you think the WC points cut line will be? I'm guessing 95 points, meaining the NYR have to accumulate ~40 points in 30 games; basically win 2 out of every 3 games pace from here out. Plausible?

@SprecksNY with all "core uncertainty" Drury has now created, methinks it would be wise not to commit to anyone for too long because the roster could look very different next season.

@ChelneyAndrew JT Miller is just playing his game; once he gets a few practices and learns Laviolette's "systems" then we'll see ...

@ColinSNewsday No coach is limiting ice time of a highly paid veteran core player. The GM paid these guys, if the coach loses with rhem on the bench that's a sure way he's getting fired. Losing by playing those vets tells the GM that he needs to change the roster, not the coach.
