I consider Dawn a friend and I’m still a little scared of her, which is why I know she’s going to be a killer watchdog reporter. Ventura county is on notice.
Breaking news: Today is my first day as an investigative and watchdog reporter at @vcstar. I’ll be focused on holding public officials and civic leaders accountable, exposing injustices and abuse of power, and shedding light on challenges faced by Ventura County residents.

TIL that science can’t measure exactly how strong a gorilla is, and so there is no way to know for sure how to contain them. The gorilla enclosures at zoos are just vibes.
