@markowen84 I agree u19s at Tier 1 academy football isn't the best which I think is your point. I'm on about below the academies where u19 football is imperative for their development and game time.

@markowen84 @Johnnyh17 @GaThomas101 @Halkynutdjunio2 Well there's your answer more reserve teams, my point being u19 football is not failing them, far from it. They'll be young lads playing reserve football not getting much playing time, come Sunday they'll get more minutes. Interesting debate though Mark 👍

@markowen84 @Johnnyh17 @GaThomas101 @Halkynutdjunio2 1st season? there's reserve football on Saturdays too for the ones that struggle with the transition, theyll be playing against adults albeit in tier4/5/6 but experience is there for them. Come Sunday they can play in u19 football with the better players that play higher level.

@markowen84 @Johnnyh17 @GaThomas101 @Halkynutdjunio2 U19s isn't failing, the more clubs have them the better, particularly playing Sundays, gives the lads playing time if they're on the bench for tier 1/2/3 teams every Saturday. It works I've witnessed it first hand, take away that and you're actually failing them and development.
