1)The water supply situation continues to steadily improve. We have dealt with the water treatment chemicals issue & we keep pushing to pay our suppliers.We are now attending to the issue of filters & clarifiers to further improve pumping capacity.

Good evening. Power has been restored to the Morton Jaffray Water Works. We expect water to be pumped to different parts of the city anytime from now. Next week, we are meeting with top ZESA officials to resolve the issue of power cuts @ our water treatment plant.

Frightening and all the more reason to fight harder for the protection of our wetlands. Harare is in great danger of drying out if we don't win the battle against indiscriminate construction and cultivation on wetlands.

2)I’m also told that the crowd there blocked fire fighters from accessing the building & they had to call in the police to disperse them. This also delayed the firemen. But they still did a fantastic job to put out the fire. The public must allow firemen to do their work.

1) Today, met the Zim Agric Society.
The Mayor of Hre is one of the 5 Trustees charged with looking after Society assets. I was briefed on the future of the Society & prospects of a shopping and conference centre & a hotel. Signature projects that connect with the future.

2)We are meeting our district officers (DO) as the thrust is now on solutions at district level. Our admin is focused on improvement in service delivery. Residents with complaints/suggestions must approach district offices where our officers & Councillors are waiting for them.

2)Govt depts owe us billions, we are facing problems accessing forex as suppliers charge USD, Zesa rates for us are too high. These are some of the issues we want to raise. Our residents come first & we hope this meeting addresses some of our challenges.

2)This is where we need our major debtors to understand our position and pay up. We are owed tens of billions and if that is settled, our service delivery in all areas will improve. If we are done fixing the issue of clarifiers and filters, we will reach 400mega liters capacity.
