This exciting new initiative with our partners at AMPATH Kenya will improve care for people in western Kenya:
On Monday, AMPATH portable point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) training commenced with healthcare workers at Webuye County Hospital in Bungoma County, the first of 6 POCUS Innovation Centers. Additional training and distribution of POCUS probes will follow.

Congratulations to all of our AMPATH partners for this new initiative to use portable point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) to improve care for people in western Kenya:
Portable point-of-care ultrasound is used by healthcare workers & clinicians to take quick, real-time images inside the body, often at a patient's bedside. It helps answer questions such as if the heart is pumping properly or baby is positioned correctly.
