Mimicry is the highest form of flattery. There are very few things in this world that are unique that haven't taken inspiration from others or just copied it totally. Especially within the streaming scene it's very rare someone comes up with something totally new to the scene. I personally don't think it's snakey nor would I ever feel anyone owes me the right to ask for permission on something. That being said I get it can be annoying and frustrating
