Makes stuff up so have to watch him closely. Gemini: Very moody but high ceiling. Coasts on ivy pedigree. Keep as intern. Deepseek: Thinks out loud and so very coachable. Upgrade to full time because he's also cheap since we hired him out of Asia.

Cloud services are either sticky (e.g. anything data-related) or stateless (serving). AI inference seems to be the latter with minimal switching costs. If capabilities are pretty much even, where is the stickiness going to come from?
