𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐀 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐁-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) today conducted an Awareness Session and Ni-Kshay Shivir (Screening Camp) at its Corporate Office in New Delhi, as part of the 100-Day Intensified Campaign on TB Elimination launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The session aimed at educating IREDA employees, including contractual staff, about TB prevention, early diagnosis, and the benefits of treatment for silent TB infection. The Ni-Kshay Shivir provided on-site screening and consultations to encourage timely medical intervention. A team from the Centre TB Division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, conducted the screenings and awareness sessions. On this occasion, Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Director (Finance), IREDA, administered the “Ni-Kshay Shapath” (pledge for a TB-free India) to all employees via a virtual platform. The two-day Shivir will continue tomorrow. Director (Finance) also inaugurated a fitness centre at the company's corporate office, providing IREDA employees with an opportunity to enhance their well-being. Shri Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman & Managing Director, IREDA, emphasized the company’s commitment to public health and social responsibility, stating, "Health and well-being are crucial for a productive workforce and a sustainable future. (IREDA) conducted its 19th Stakeholders’ Interaction Meet today in virtual mode, chaired by Shri Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman & Managing Director. The meeting brought together borrowers from diverse Renewable Energy sectors to discuss key updates, foster collaboration, and advance the sector’s growth. In his opening remarks, Shri Das highlighted IREDA’s remarkable achievements in Q3 of FY 2024-25, emphasizing commitment to ease of doing business and providing low-cost funds to Renewable Energy developers. He reiterated IREDA’s dedication to reducing borrowing costs to benefit project developers, ensuring sustained business performance and growth over the past four and a half years. Shri Das also underscored IREDA’s focus on maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance, transparency, and discipline. Notably, IREDA became the first corporate in India to publish its Q3 full audited financial results in just nine days. He urged stakeholders to prioritize compliance, timely reporting, and dues clearance to sustain asset quality and strengthen IREDA’s credit rating. Borrowers from across the RE sectors shared valuable suggestions and feedback, which will play a pivotal role in shaping IREDA’s initiatives and strategies. Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Director (Finance), and other senior IREDA officials also participated in the meeting. 𝐂𝐌𝐃, 𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐀 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐎𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚’𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐔𝐭𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡 𝐎𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 Shri Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman and Managing Director, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), addressed a pivotal session on “Sustainable Growth of Renewable Energy & Equipment Manufacturing” at Utkarsh Odisha 2025 in Bhubaneswar today. Shri Das highlighted that India’s renewable energy expansion requires interventions across generation, manufacturing, financing, and workforce skilling to achieve its 500 GW target by 2030. With an estimated ₹30-32 lakh crore investment needed, policies to attract global funds, expand green bonds, and empower NBFCs like IREDA are essential. He emphasized that stated that with the right mix of infrastructure, investment, and policy support, Odisha can establish itself as a leader in India’s renewable energy landscape. Odisha currently has an installed RE capacity of 2.94 GW, with a target of 10 GW by 2030. He highlighted the state’s geographical advantage, strong industrial base, and policy support as key drivers for attracting large-scale investments in solar, wind, hydro, and green hydrogen initiatives. IREDA’s financial interventions in Odisha have been significant, with a loan book exceeding ₹1,540 crore for Odisha-based projects as of Q3 FY25. With cumulative loan sanction of ₹4,315 crore for renewable projects, with 77% of these sanctions issued since FY20 and cumulative disbursements exceeding ₹2,146 crore, IREDA is committed to financing Odisha’s renewable energy transition by bridging financing gaps, promoting green investments, and ensuring the rapid deployment of clean energy projects. Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha in his address assured policy reforms and necessary support to position Odisha as a leader in the green energy transition. Shri Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary (Energy), Odisha also graced the session.
