Met officer has been found guilty of common assault following the arrest of a woman during a fare evasion operation in Croydon in July 2023.

Ali was a probationary Constable. Part of being a prob Constable is to complete 2 yrs service, focusing on specific aims and objectives. Ultimately Ali felt that he didn't want to do that. This does not constitute racism and does discredit those who fight against it.
