Had an incredibly insightful and enlightening discussion yesterday with support-givers and men with lived experience of prostate cancer at the Conway Institute, UCD! IPCOR is dedicated to creating a holistic registry platform reflecting every part of the prostate cancer journey, including the effect of disease on partners, family members and households. Yesterday's workshop focused on the effect of diagnosis and treatment on personal relationships, social life and the physical/mental health of caregivers. We look forward to documenting the outcomes of our discussion and use these perspectives to fuel future research initiatives and recommendations to policymakers! Special thanks to @PVCR_Ireland for their incredible facilitation and support.
