If you apply to be a Sworn Police Officer with IMPD before February 1st, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in an expedited part of the IMPD Hiring Process. Completing the first three components of the process in the same day. , That day will be Saturday, February 9th.

For the 50th Anniversary of the Special Olympics, IMPD was able to raise over $4500 for the Special Olympics athletes in Indiana. Congratulations to our very own IMPD East District Officer Michael McWhorter for being the winner of the 1st ever District Challenge Award.
