As I’ve mentioned before, I'm not the type to jump from series to series. I started following JJK because I genuinely enjoyed it. I'll keep my account up to look back at it but I won't post much after the manga ends. I'm grateful for all the support I've received over the years.

I haven't kept up with this much but was made aware of it by a friend, and I find the whole idea very silly. I'm not denying my own involvement in leaking in the past I’ve made mistakes, but I'm grateful to have friends who helped me do better.

I just don't see the logic behind saying it got popular because of "leaks" because by that logic Samurai 8 should have been the most successful manga out there in history. but clearly it is not even a factor to play in the success of a series

Also, I would like to point out that It's important to recognize that while leaks may have contributed to a certain level of visibility or buzz, they are far from the sole reason for a series' popularity, especially in a case like JJK.

People tend to forget that JJK leaks used to come out only on Fridays/Saturdays until things changed ofc but for a while, it was like that and it only got some traffic at the end Shibuya arc, and with the season one ending.

even tho without them, there is no other way to even read the series but no one really thinks that then the @SteadyStudios "accident" which slowed things down (not related to his court case for this one which he is a piece of shit for it) but for deleting the chapters and such.

JJK didn’t even have chapters caught up to the raws, and many people I knew who worked on the series, like Henry (and in 2018 there was no manga plus when JJK started) never once thought they were the main reason for its popularity because it's so silly to even think like that

@vanieneesan Yeah with how things were going, I expected something bad to go at the end, but will see 🫡 It is still weird to see the series ending after all these years...
