📢 Congratulations, Professor John Fraser AO! 🎉 ANZICS sends wholehearted and enthusiastic congratulations to Professor John Fraser AO in recognition of his huge contribution to the field of Intensive Care. Professor Fraser is the Director of the Intensive Care Unit at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, Chief Medical Officer of De Motu Cordis, Intensivist at The Prince Charles Hospital, and has led the @CriticalCareResearchGroup in Queensland since 2004. John and his team have spearheaded groundbreaking research in Australia and across the world, including: ✅ The Living Heart Project ❤️ ✅ The ICU of the Future 🚑 ✅ COVID Critical 🦠 His recognition as an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the 2025 Australia Day Honours List is a testament to his world-class research, dedication to improving healthcare, and commitment to enhancing the lives of critically ill patients. We also extend our gratitude to John not just for his unwavering contributions to Intensive Care in Australia and New Zealand, but also for his humour and singing voice, which we look forward to enjoying at many ANZICS meetings to come! 🎶👏
