More important and exciting news from Italy this past weekend. At the annual CON-X baseball and softball convention held in Rimini, Italy, it was announced that veteran MLB executive and Italian American @realnedcolletti will serve as the GM for Team #Italy during the 2026 World Baseball Classic. This is a strong move thanks to Colletti's experience navigating Major League Baseball front offices and pro players. His connections and respect across the baseball landscape are tremendous. Colletti was the GM of the Dodgers from 2006-2014 and the assistant GM of the Giants before his time in Los Angeles. IABF looks forward to supporting Colletti, team manager Francisco Cervelli, and Team Italy at the 2026 #WBC and beyond. Forza Azzurri! 🇮🇹 ⚾️ 🇺🇸
