a long time ago i had a genshin lore thought: why use so many names from the lemegeton for the gods & archons & not have lucifer? lucifer is the fallen; the ruler of hell. it'd be odd to leave him out.

a few really obvious correlations:
➤ lucifer falls from heaven, the traveler falls from the sky
➤ the traveler represents light, lucifer is the light bearer
➤ paimon is the traveler's companion, who, according to the ars goetia (&c.), is a demonic king most loyal to lucifer

as a note, there is no lucifer listed in the ars goetia, he is only mentioned in relation with paimon & belial. this could possibly be due to the pseudomonarchia daemonum (a text closely related) missing the beginning of the manuscript, which would contain lucifer, satan, &c.

here we have lucifer as twins, as a duality: the dawn bringer, a little rebellious and hopeful; then the evening star, waiting for the night [abyss] to come.
from "the road not taken" there's a clear narrative parallel between lumine at dusk, and aether at dawn.

both aether and lumine have a design on their cape/dress that resemble a primo gem (or a star) being split down the center. it's a nice little rebellious touch.

i'm going to add to this because there are a few really interesting theories about teyvat being an underworld/hell, & the idea of the traveler becoming the "king of hell" is fitting.
on the flip side, this also goes for the abyss sibling, who's "royalty" of the abyss.

hesperus is "evening star", while phosphoros "morning star". helel ben sahar from the septuagint is translated to heosphoros (Φωσφόρος) or phosphoros, the dawn bringer*.
helel ben sahar is the first mention of the being that would be lucifer from isaiah 14:22.

the chart contains everyone currently mentioned, so keep in mind we get a few time jumps that make certain relationships seem disconnected. (e.g. the perinheri bunch & the cataclysm gang.)
