We're the hydrotherapy pool at Chorley District Hospital! It's all about the warm water, fantastic physiotherapists and putting smiles on patient's faces.

We've been a bit quiet over Christmas and New Year, but the good news is that the pool has had a major overhaul, deep clean and a lick of paint over the last few weeks. Thanks to @LancsHospitals Estates Team for some great work that allows us to keep running a fantastic service.

We're already at Wednesday and having another busy week... and not just with patients. We've also had student physios, student nurses and a student doctor join us. It's great to hear their enthusiasm about their chosen careers. #thefuturesbright #youngachievers @LancsHospitals

A great Monday start. One of our patients had a 5th session with us and has also seen the physio on land. "I feel great. I had 2 crutches when I first came here & thought I'd be back at work after Christmas. I don't need any crutches and am back at work tomorrow" @LancsHospitals

What a great week in the hydro pool 🌊. It's been non stop with patients aged between 4yrs and 81yrs. They've all brought lots of energy and commitment to their therapy plans, and some are possibly slightly more knowledgeable about 80's music 🎶!!!
