It plays on the affections of the viewers. Once you become familiar with the 4th wall, you’ll realize that her public appearances are planned and scripted. She DID NOT expect that type of crowd reaction, and as a trained actress, decided to break the 4th wall in attempt to regain the audience’s affection. Pretty smart, eh? 😂
