Jake Evans has already had at least 3 concussions prior to that attack by Scheifele including an awful hit in a Habs-Senators rookie game two years ago and last summer following a hit by Brandon Taney. Hoping for the best. He’s looked so good next to Danault & Gallagher.

Deal with what Brian? It’s an embarrassment for a supposedly major sport to have a continued level of incompetence this deep into the playoffs. Thing is now more people see it while those with puckered lips want to pretend it doesn’t exist. That’s not the way to get better.

As a Leafs fan, I have to hand it to the Montreal Canadiens on their incredible season. They won 37 games and lost 41. They were outscored at even strength by 13 goals. Just an amazing year their fans should remember forever.

This was a special day for me. I used to listen to Larry host “Open Phone America” as part of his all night radio show in the late 70s and 80s. After this photo was taken he gave me his # and said, “Call me anytime.” He had such an active and curious mind. He was the best.
