The SFPD is aware of this incident and has reached out to the victim. The SFPD takes violent crime very seriously and investigators are working diligently on this case. Here is a synopsis of the case from our report:  On January 18, 2025, at approximately 2:08 a.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the area of 24th and Bryant Streets regarding an unknown male in the street bleeding from the head.   Upon arrival, medics were already on scene rendering aid to the male subject.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for further medical attention.  During a preliminary investigation, a witness told officers that the victim and another unknown male subject were in an argument that became physical.  Shortly after, the suspect fled from the scene.   No arrests have been made yet. This is still an open and active investigation.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the SFPD at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD. SFPD Case# 250-034-601 Violent crime is unacceptable in San Francisco and the SFPD has devoted resources to ensure the public is safe and perpetrators are held accountable. The SFPD is working to make an arrest in this case, at which point we will work closely with our partners in the district attorneys office.
