@AshRyanDonal It hasn't operated as a hotel in years, and the rhetoric around a lot of the campaign is of not wanting ANYONE there. I was invited to the fb page & it was awful. I disagree with the antics at the gate, I'm not forcing anyone to agree with me, expressing my opinion on my own page

@Stevolins If I were condemning people, I'd be naming names, and saying the people are a disgrace. I never said that, I said the behavior was. It's possible to take issue with someone's actions while acknowledging they are not necessarily a bad or evil person.

@pauddevitt @TikiDrinki It hasn't been used FULLY though, as I said, the venue is up and running but it hasn't been a hotel since the fire, and large parts of the building have been completely unused

Well, while ye are here and mad.. Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. CEASEFIRE NOW Resources and ways to help available here (I chose one with American options since I know a fair few of the trolls in my replies are American lol)
I grew up in this parish, the only thing that bothers me about this is the absolutely disgraceful behaviour of the locals. A lot of hypocrisy going on, making a show of themselves and making migrants feel unwelcome when the opposite should be true.

@Stevolins I'm not condemning people though? I could name and shame and air people's dirty laundry but I won't, I just think the behaviour outside the gates after the migrants arrived was horrible. As for likes? Who tf cares? I post when I want to rant about something or random thoughts.

@TikiDrinki 1. They're not going into people's homes, they're going to a MASSIVE building that hasn't been used fully in years. 2. I literally am a local? I grew up there, went to school there, my parents still live near so I spend a lot of time down there, and know the people involved
