In December, I was asked to run against Dan Crenshaw. I knew it wouldn’t be easy—I expected rumors, speculation, and plenty of challenges. And sure enough, it didn’t take long for the attacks to start. I’m not a career politician. I’m someone who has spent years working behind the scenes, advocating for those who couldn’t fight for themselves. My real name is Ava Zolari, but most of my social media has always used my nickname, KrisiAnn. You’ll see my full name, Ava ‘KrisiAnn’ Zolari, on the ballot. Putting my name out there like this is difficult, but I know the fight is worth it. Much of my work has required privacy. I founded Stop Abuse organization, helping children trapped in broken family court systems where they were being sent back to their abusers. I’ve worked with domestic violence victims—not just as an advocate, but as a survivor myself. I’ve fought against online doxxing and harassment. Dr. Mary Bowden can confirm my advocacy efforts, including a tragic Texas case where cyberbullying led to a young man’s suicide. I’ve done pro-life work, medical missions around the world, and now, I’m stepping up to serve my country in a new way. And for those questioning my Austin PO Box—it’s a privacy box issued by the Attorney General for safety reasons. The people trying to slander me could have found that with a little research, but they weren’t interested in facts—just smearing my name. I understand skepticism. You won’t find much of my history online because privacy wasn’t just a luxury—it was a necessity to protect the people I was helping. But as time went on, I saw firsthand how difficult it was to reach lawmakers. That’s one reason I decided to step up. We’ve seen this before—good people stepping into the fight, only to be torn down by rumors and infighting. It just happened to @ScottPresler and many others. The establishment is fighting for its survival, and some so-called “Republicans” are helping them. But if we truly want change, if we want Trump’s work to continue and be cemented into law, we have to stop tearing each other down and start lifting each other up. This campaign is still in its early stages. I don’t have big PACs funding me—this is 100% grassroots. If you want Dan Crenshaw out, I need your help. I need your patience as I build this campaign. I need your encouragement because this is a fight that can’t be won alone. I’m sacrificing my time, my income, and my privacy—not for personal gain, but because I love this district, I love Texas, and I love this country.
