If we liken Ichigo's journey to rain, the start of FullBring represents an ever-present cloudy sky. No rain falls, but the sun is blocked by a perpetual gray veil. An elongated melancholy stuck between hope and despair. This ending captures this sentiment perfectly.

We haven’t seen the state of the rain in Boruto manga canon. Plus, the main plague they endured was getting constantly thrown into the crossfire of wars between the great nations. Now that they've been at peace with each other for so long, the rain’s biggest problem is gone.

This Event with Kishimoto and Ikemoto has been proving what I’ve said about Boruto for a long time. It’s been clear Kishi only drafted an outline but doesn’t write the actual moment-to-moment stuff, like the dialogue. That’s all Ikemoto.

It amazes me how many people still talk about Kaido like he was a low to mid tier One Piece villain. Through poor dialogue from popular content creators like morj, the nuance in his character and how it connects to OP’s themes is lost.

Both are phenomenal character moments. One showing strength in his conviction to see beyond the known himself, and the other showing a glaring weakness on a path that would one day mature into his greatest strength. Unfortunately, most are too busy aura scaling to see this.

2023 and people still believe this shit. This video touches on everything going into Madara, Kaguya, and finally, Sasuke in the war arc. Everything culminates beautifully into Sasuke, and Kaguya is 100% a net positive for this thematic thread.
