I had a chance to sit down with IEA chief @fbirol to talk through the big moment: Will the world continue to choose more fossil fuels or is clean energy the no-brainer now? The choice determines the planet's future, and he came across as optimistic.

CCTV footage captured in Kyiv, Ukraine yesterday shows people struggling to walk downhill due to ice covering the street in the city centre. Over 4,000 sweepers were deployed to remove the ice from the city streets.
