And I think all us beginners want our work to look 100%like the original but once you really start experimenting with drawing you realize you don’t want your piece to be a copy of the author’s art you want it to be a part of you,a little gift you are giving that author with love.

@palimamala There are certain things that make them recognizable. In this manhwa’s case the eyes are a key feature. And just like that in other cases, simply using the character’s defining traits is enough to know it’s them, eye and hair color, tattoos, beauty marks, eyebrows, hairstyle etc
