My guy @sal_licata is back and explains why the worst season in Giants history has finally come to an end. Plus, Rodgers is out! So, who's in at QB? 'Eagles Win Super Bowl & Aaron Rodgers Is Done With Jets | WFAN Daily With Sal Licata' by WFAN Daily

Interesting, so Rodgers wouldn't accept their demands? SHOCKER!
I had heard, shortly after Aaron Glenn was hired, that the #Jets were still open to a third season with Aaron Rodgers. It would be different this time around, though. I didn't get the sense this regime was lenient with optional OTA & minicamp attendance, the Pat McAfee appearances & not knowing the topics they'd venture to. Much different than the last one that brought Rodgers here. They (justifiably so) want a quarterback who is 1 of 53, not separate from the pack.

On a real note. Congratulations to @nate_robinson and his Kidney Donor. That's real life stuff there.

Great news for Aaron Glenn. Now Jets fans know the direction of the team. Rebuild. Now... how do they shed Davante Adams salary?
Big scoopage: Aaron Rodgers flew back to New Jersey last week to meet with the Jets about his future with the team, only to be told that the team was moving on from him. If that means that he will be a June 1 designation that allows him to sign with any team in the league on March 12 if he decides to continue to play. Given that Aaron made the effort to fly back to discuss his future, all signs point to him continuing to play. It just won't be for the Jets. @NFLonFOX

It's better for Glenn and company to build their own future and not have Aaron Rodgers taint it with his last ditch Hail Mary season.
Respectfully, nobody knows what’s happening yet with Aaron Rodgers. It feels safe to predict he won’t be back — but again, everyone is just guessing at this juncture, including people around the league. A lot of factors at play. 1. If Glenn/Mougey want Rodgers 2. If Rodgers wants to return based on what they require of him 3. Financial implications and whether he’s willing to redo his deal, which will likely be a necessity.
