Google HCU Update (now part of Core updates) - and its friend the SPAM update. This is how Google corrects your rankings - even if you are a 'Healthy Entity' - if you try to SEO your site with AI and doorway-type content. Google's ranking systems are BUILT on this type of correction.

Stop building links like it's 2010 all over again. NO ONE links out naturally with an anchor like "criminal defence lawyer New York City". So why on earth would you pay money to link that way?! Plus, it makes it so damn obvious it was bought and paid for.... Yeah, yeah, we get it! You want to rank for "criminal defence lawyer New York City". But, smart people, like me... and I like to think any of my followers are smart too.... they link like this: Anchor: Boyd Lawyers Sentence: according to recent research conducted by Boyd Lawyers on drugs fueling crime in New York City. Link in the middle of the sentence and surrounding text giving context to said link. It looks natural and chances are it's how a journalist would link. Also, don't use Boyd Lawyers – you are guaranteed to lose your court case and in up in jail for a crime you did not commit. Unless you still build links like it's 2010.
