My era of QBs is nearly gone. Manning(s), Rivers, Brees, Romo etc. Brady, Rodgers, Smith, Roethlisberger, Flacco, Ryan etc all on the cusp of being done. Its going to feel like a different NFL for me once all these guys are gone.

My wife is always encouraging me to buy cards so I took her to build a bear as a surprise today. She asked me if it was weird/childish that she wanted to collect build a bears. Ma'am I collect cardboard pictures of men. Do what makes you happy. Who cares what others think of it.

My grandpa passed away this morning. He was really the only grandpa I ever had. He was a ladies man up until the end. Ran off to Vegas and got married at the ripe old age of 70. That's a story I'll never get bored of telling my kids 😂.

Tomorrow will mark 1 year since my little sister passed. Anniversary type stuff never usually means much to me. Thats how time works. This has been hitting me more than I expected. Have just felt weighed down the last couple of days. Wont be around much tomorrow. Just need a day.

My wife's grandpa has had health issues but expected things for his age. Then we learned his cancer came back though. Didn't really have a time table but thought there were still months at least. This morning he passed. If you're the praying type, please pray for my wife.

In my nearly two years of running this account, its been so cool to see the card hobby explode. So many people have gotten into it. New collectors, returning collectors, celebrities, athletes, childhood friends. Just been awesome to see so many people start collecting.

Talked to my wife about building the Marvel Black Diamond base/Exquisite set together. She was 100% on board and excited. Told her it would take some time and be expensive but it'd be fun to do together. She hits me with "why don't we buy boxes and get them that way". Ma'am.

Been a bad year for a lot of people. I lost several grandparents, a bunch of other "minor" issues and then had it topped off with my little sister passing. 2021 isn't going to magically be better. We have to fight to MAKE it better every single day. Happy new year everyone!.

Bought a Cooper Kupp RPA. Have buyers remorse because it's kind of an ugly card. I committed to buying it though so I paid for it. Buyers remorse is not a reason to back out of a deal. If you commit to buying something, buy it.

#HCPCShowcase day 211: Finally we've arrived to the last card. This is the crown jewel of my entire collection. Tom Brady is the goat and there is no debate. When I bought this I felt sick due to how excited I was😂. Still crazy to me that I own a Brady auto. Absolutely love it.

I love my cards. I'm a collector by nature but cards bring me closer to the sport I love. Know what I didnt expect? That the cards would come 2nd to the friendships I've made. Not even a close 2nd. Im not trying to be overly sappy here but I'm truly blessed to have you guys.

A few days ago was the 1 year mark of my sister passing. Today is the one year mark of this 😂. Parents and brother came up. I had a ghost pepper and thought eating it would just distract everyone for a bit and make them laugh. It worked. Not so sure it was worth it though 😂😂

My wife and I made some homemade pizzas. I aligned my pepperoni in rows so that they were nice and neat and could be cut in straight lines without cutting the pepperoni. She ACTIVELY went out of her way to still cut the pepperoni and ruin my rows.

I personally don't care of it was an incompletion. It was a remarkable feat of athleticism. A diving throw that went 30 yards and hit the receiver in the hands. Incredible. Probably a top 3 dream card for me.

I wish more ebay sellers would use the ebay shipping option. I'd buy sooooo many more <$5 cards. I just have a hard time spending more on shipping than the actual card. Even if the total cost is still a good price. It's a stupid principle of mine but a principle nonetheless.

As a pure collector, I really hope this card bubble pops. Its just insane how big prices are getting. I used to think $300 for a hobby box was really high but now they're closer to $1000. I understand a lot of people run businesses but as just a collector, I do not like this.

Haven't been around much today. A year ago this week is when my wife and I's nightmare 2020 started. The first of many losses in a 12 month span. Today we went to an Arboretum to sort of celebrate her grandmother's life. Emotional day but a good one. Life is precious. Embrace it.

Been a lot of focus on scammers but don't let that confuse you. The VAST majority of the people are amazing kind hearted people. Some of the best I've ever known. We have to look out for each other and prevent scams but the light in this community is much stronger than the dark.
