As a History Bird, I know what happened on January 6. I watched it on TV with My Human. And I am OODALLYING for a commission to investigate what happened. I know what’s what. I AM A HISTORY BIRD!!! This is my fierce and determined look.

Someone let me pet her chest today. Nervously. But still. Nothing like a warm little birb chest.

Someone discovered her toys today... She's SUCH a BRAVE RESCUE BIRB. She also called me out of my bedroom this morning when I slept too late. This birb has attitude! Perfect for a resistance birb.

@jt_omalley Sometimes she tucks the other foot. Regardless, I'm going to get her checked out at the vet soon, just in case.

One last birb update for the day, partly because Heather asked about it: I have just bought the new bird the Good Millet.

Newbie came to me from Central Park at the start of the pandemic. This little baby came from Central Park at the start of our current...bad times. I'm convinced that Newbie sent her. Because I need this little ray of sweetness right now. And I'm betting you do too.

So far, New(er) Bird has eaten millet out of my hand, eaten millet off of her holder, and found her food dish and eaten out of it as well. All on day one! She is a Brave Bird! And I'll be sharing her adventures with you! ❤️❤️❤️🦜

So....I met the Central Park rescue budgie yesterday. I don't want to jinx anything. But I got some head bobs. That's happy budgie talk. Maybe Newbie decided that I needed a new friend during current hard times.... You'll be the first to know if he ends up with me.
