@MaireadSeanad @gardenngather It is well known the register is not reflective of the # abroad & recent grads If it was accurate,with 88k graduating from higher education in 2022 alone & if half of them were NUI, then the register would have increased 88k between 22&24 however it only increase by 853.

@MaireadSeanad @gardenngather A 2017 report from DFA (link below) estimates 1.47 million & the 2 screen shots below (google today) give a range of 1 to 1.47 million Irish born nationals abroad, therefore 20% of Ireland’s pop abroad is therefore in the ball park.

@gardenngather Address will be Boyle Co Ros in new register Did not realize an address could be an issue when it comes to voting, after all, I will represent 50% of grads&20% of IRL pop who live abroad. Ones address should not be a issue ,the issue is, no one represent them&that deserves a vote
