YUP! I also think that nightclub promoters used to have the power, dictating which DJ's were hot & they curated the night. Noww all these DJ collectives have popped up with their own events & huge followings, so the venues are now begging THEM to do takeovers. Big power shift!
Awful name aside, some of the issues are: - London isn’t a 24 hr city. Transportation is done by 1am + weekend “night services” don’t go to all locations - Elephant in the room is folks are limiting/quitting alcohol. More innovation in offerings than a Pint in a pub are needed
