Wondering what the best tools and services in Web3 are?
Got a little something for you.
I just hit publish on the week's update of Web3 tool reviews. Below you'll find what's been added to the DeRev site this week.
If you've used any, feel free to drop a review on DeRev.
@AlexHormozi
My wife thinks I'm crazy for saying the same thing about unscheduled phone calls.
I hate them.
They're convenient for the caller, and an unplanned disruption for the receiver.
Loving what
@ishverduzco
has done with his NFT Marketing Playbook.
Perfect example of how to bridge the gap between "old" marketing practices of producing in-depth guides/eBooks and new tech behind NFTs.
3 lessons learned from breaking down
@VeryGoodCopy
Shleyner's incredible LinkedIn growth model.
1. Focus on a single social platform - Eddie is far more active on LinkedIn than Twitter
2. Be consistent - on average, Eddie seems to post something every 1-2 days

Blue chip? - Not yet
I'm bullish on this and think they will hit BC status. Why?
Experienced leadership
@ericosiu
+ great team
Great community
Big names already minted in their epic tier
Most importantly, real world application with business meetups
@GaryLineker
Yup.
Absolutely sucks for us Cov fans.
Feels like a constant stream of getting screwed by owners and poor decisions.
Still, we’ll make it through this as well.
#PUSB
Had a great chat this morning with
@SwapnikaNag1
regarding the future of
#web3
comms.
She's building
@0x_hashmail
A tool that's helping bring better comms to projects and businesses in Web3.
Free
#NFT
giveaway!
I'm giving away a free copy of
@ishverduzco
's NFT Marketing playbook.
If you want to enter and get your hands on the guide to help you launch your NFT collection or analyse which collections will do well, check out the thread for the link.
Not yet got my hands on a copy of
@ishverduzco
NFT Marketing Playbook, but it looks incredible.
And if the free content he's putting out is anything to go by the value inside is unreal.
Every successful brand I've analysed over the last few months (and there are a lot of them), does pretty much the same thing.
They have a super simple strategic model they follow.
@NicheSiteLady
@jackgecom
Agreed.
Hate it when a lot of "influencers" flex on the revenue but never mention running costs, ad spend etc.
Credit to
@jackgecom
for showing the net profit as well though.
Still, a bit of a difference from what's claimed in tweet

@hagaetc
To hijack this, I don't think you guys need an airdrop.
Literally just published something analysing why Dune doesn't;t need this sort of approach.
You've built something great
@hagaetc
@nichealchemist
"The content doesn’t have to be perfect, just make sure it’s not garbage. You can come back and update it later."
Wish more people understood this. The amount of people I've worked with who won't hit publish until the piece is "perfect".
Took a leaf out of
@SeanAnthonySays
' book and decided to use a Google Doc as a "sales page".
This is just for a pre-sale to judge interest from my list. But it's been fun to create (and much less hassle than a designed sales page)
Pulling the list together for who we're adding to the
@DecReviews
library next week.
Who should we add?
If you're running a
#web3
,
#blockchain
,
#crypto
, or
#NFT
project, drop a comment below and I'll add you to the list.
Or jump the queue and add it yourself to the link below.

What's the best place to check historical trading volume of
#cryptocurrency
exchanges and
#NFT
marketplaces.
Would be good to see month by month volume for the last 12+ months.
Searching around, but can only seem to find the last 24 hrs of data 🤷🏻♂️
Spent the last few hours reading and trying to understand the best ways to analyse Web3 platforms.
Here's what I have for 3 starting sections.
Huge thanks to
@ericosiu
@danmcdme
@katherine_roan
for their initial thoughts.
More on my plan here...
Just bought this bad boy from
@ishverduzco
.
And I'm going to be GIVING IT AWAY to someone.
Working on details for the giveaway, but if you want to make sure you hear about it, make sure you follow me and engage with this post.
Wanna know how successful brands scale their...

Yeah, me too.
So I'm spending my time deconstructing the marketing strategies of uniquely successful brands.

Want to know how great Web3 brands drive growth?
This is the master list you want.
A while back I did deep analysis of Web 2.0 brand growth strategy.
They were smash hits.
I'm now doing the same with Web3.

@primitives_xyz
is working to solve this.
While the
#NFT
identity they offer will help people connect with you, the Primitives team is also working to make onboarding to a
#Web3
wallet simpler and more fun.
Last week we added 11 awesome
#web3
projects and brands that are making the space more useful and accessible for everyone.
Below is a quick overview of who we added. You can find more details on each of them in the comments.
If you know how people are interacting, you can better amend and improve to fit the needs of the many.
This is what
@cruxlabsxyz
helps with.
Crux Labs enables better engagement for Web3 brands. It helps brands...
- Discover
- Track
- Engage
... with users.
Last
#web3
tool addition to
@DecReviews
for the morning.
Just added
@nftbullapp
- an institutional grade NFT terminal to help NFT investors make smarter decisions on what they buy into.
More below...
Just added
@NibblNFT
to the
@DecReviews
library of
#web3
tools.
Nibble helps you fractionalize your NFTs or invest in a fraction of an NFT.
more below.
@MarijanaKay
Cover PPP to get the target audience interested.
Mention...
The Person (who’s gonna benefit from it).
The Problem they’re facing.
Proof you have the solution.
Has increased my TOS and scroll depth.
@ishverduzco
@SomniumSpace
@nft2040
@ImmaDegen
To me this is what the future of NFTs is.
Not just collectibles you can display as a static image, but something that can be used actively through other channels and networks.
Thinking genuinely custom skins for video games, Zoom avatars (as above) and so much more.
"Yes ladders" are massively underrated in marketing.
They're the foreplay needed to seal the sale.
The Agora have a masterful yes ladder that's helped them grow their collective revenue to over $1B.
I deconstructed their entire system to an easy replicable model for you 👇
$1MM one-person business.
Is it possible to make 7-figures as a solopreneur.
Yup. And I'll prove it below.
All you need is to be able to outsource work to the right contractors and make heavy use of smart automation.
More in the thread here.
How to "duplicate" yourself to increase productivity.
Schedules getting packed and it's nearing the time I'll have to bring someone on to handle some tasks.
Here's the process I've used successfully to outsource work over the last 10 years.
@ryandeiss
Completely agree.
I wonder if a lot of the smaller creators dont get involved because they dont have the cash to spend.
I know that was a stumbling block for me.
Trying to create a self liquidating tripwire helps though.
If we're being 100% honest, the massive boom in
#NFT
popularity in 2021 wasn't due to utility or driven by pragmatism.
It was down to the amount of money people could make
#trading
NFTs.
I recently shared a thread on how we repurpose content across multiple channels to get initial traffic and traction.
Wanted to add on that today with a real-life example of one of the 🐐's of sharing.
@thecoolestcool
.
Most folk are doing content marketing wrong.
Here's a quick and dirty guide on getting more miles out of every piece of content you produce.
I've used this to scale brand new pieces to 100 visits / day within a week.
The foundation of
#Web3
is great for privacy and security, but it makes direct
#communication
kind of difficult.
Most people link their wallet to the
#dapps
they use.
What do you think of this simple method to come up with high potential content ideas in a couple of minutes.
Simple process and uses only 2 tools.
1 - Keywords Everywhere
2 -
@Copy_ai
Here's how it breaks down
Linea from Consensys used a Web3 quest campaign to drive awareness and onboard people to stress test their offer.
Sounds pretty normal until you realise they generated 12M participants in the quest campaign.
Their approach is crazy effective.
Who are the best
#marketing
agencies in
#Web3
?
Not asking for me, so hold your pitches!
I just added a marketing agency category to the
@DecReviews
site and am looking to seed it with great marketing agencies in the space.
@SeanAnthonySays
I have a huge Google Drive folder of exactly this.
When something works I break it down to a template along with the original.
Makes it easier to reuse for something else next time.
@SeanAnthonySays
Agreed.
Especially if it’s $100k from your own business.
No one ever considers opera acting costs and tax.
$100k revenue can easily become $50K in your pocket.
@NicheSiteLady
Lol.
Not sure this person knows what constructive criticism is.
I don't read all the emails to the end. But some I do.
Nothing to do with the quality of the emails. All to do with which ones are relevant for the issues I'm facing now.
Been messin with
@Copy_ai
and thinking of use cases for small biz owners, creators, and even freelancers.
Here's a quick guide to what might improve organic traffic.
Can be used to improve your own brand, or sold as a service to freelance clients.
Thoughts? 👇👇👇
Just finished pulling all the stats on market presence and trading volume of cryptocurrency exchanges together.
First time doing something like this completely solo so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Link to the full report to follow.

Added something a little different to
@decreviews
.
Thought maybe we should expand to include overviews and user reviews of popular NFT collections.
Thought this might help people now what to look for in good collections and avoid the rugs that damage the entire industry.
Listened to many "how to build an audience" convos on Clubhouse.
Many folks who did this 5yrs+ ago shared the same GENERIC advice:
"Stay consistent. Put in the reps. Create great content".
IMO: that's a pre-requisite, but not very helpful.
Less-obvious points I've learned

Working on some product improvements for
@DecReviews

Before we go all in on building, would love to speak to anyone on the larger, enterprise-size side of things in the
#web3
space.
Ideally those at an executive level.
Who wants a list of awesome
#Web3
projects?
I'm organising and analysing the 780+ entries we've added to
@decreviews
and thought others might find it useful.
