@web_of_throats It stemmed from the lack of communication between the two, to the point Chloe drove David to losing it and David never explained why he did it lol Both are at fault but I’m on David’s side because I was in the same situation and fully understand it was deserved with how I acted😭

@web_of_throats Its okay I don’t mind) It’s not about morality it’s about doing what’s necessary, no matter whether it’s morally ‘correct’ or not. I’m unsure of where you live but it could explain the differences lol

@Deborah39676025 Yuh because Chloe is difficult as hell for no good reason and Joyce DID manage without William with David except Chloe was pissed over it

@Deborah39676025 Now who said anything about Mary Sues..most of this fandom treats characters like them which is a pain in the arse who cares about people who barely mature and act like that in the most annoying way possible, waste of time and energy and certainly not built for the world LMAO

@web_of_throats It’s not right but it’s not wrong either. If your parent gets so pissed to the point they slap you, there must be a reason for them to do so then. He didn’t just smack her for the fuck of it

@web_of_throats Then again we’ve seen how Chloe acts at that grown age. It’s odd how at 15-16 she had more improvement than at 18-19 which is because the writers are arse Joyce definitely loved David though. We can see it in the little moments like them dancing in the kitchen and so on

@lis2preacher I see him as a morally grey character. I honestly wholeheartedly believe that if Chloe would act ‘normally’ he’d be less on her ass at times. They could definitely find a sort of balance if it wasn’t for certain things. The parenting style honestly seems understandable to me

@web_of_throats He definitely needs more patience with Chloe at times but genuinely who hasn’t been smacked across the face or at all by their parent when driven to their limits

@web_of_throats I honestly don’t consider it abusive , he just went paranoid with the cameras but other than that his behaviour seems normal for a parent. Gentle parenting never quite works well in real life situations

@Deborah39676025 Chloe is 18-19 is the first game. It’s about time to mature at that age. Keep in mind that losing a father is NOT a difficult past. Shit happens, we feel upset for a little and move on with life. Not spend 10 damn years on that😭😭😭
