I'll add that I agree with him. An Israeli lobby can only have pwr because US interest will always be with settler colonialism. If the lobby disappeared today, something else will come around to ensure European presence in the ME.

This thread got over 120 comments. Only 2 ppl tried 2 answer question. 1 of those a Palestinian. The rest who disagreed just called me silly names. 1 person took the time 2 explain & his thread is worth amplifying even though I don't agree with all of it.

There's a lot to say in response but I'll just say on the point of anti zionist responses sometimes going too far, if there is a rise in blanket attacks on zionists of all spectrums, that's not the fault of students or antisemitism, it's the fault of zionism and Israel.

Israel is like Europeans settling New York or Sydney and stopping there. Let's all agree that the natives would have eventually kicked out the Europeans in those cases. It was the expansion of the settler colonies that did it for those Indigenous populations, for now at least.2/3

We can't use violence but Israelis can. We can't use boycotts but Israelis can. And now we can't even stand up and make a speech because we'll offend our hosts. How should Palestinians or other oppressed groups bring better light to their cause? Please enlighten us.
