Goodbyes are always tough! Yet, sometimes we have to face difficult moments, right? To our beloved Cal football family, we truly appreciate the warm welcome and embrace you’ve given us. It has meant the world every time someone took the time to stop us at the stadium, seek us out in our seats, or come up during basketball games for the other kids to encourage Bryson to keep fighting and tell Brock to keep protecting. Knowing that you’ve followed their journeys on social media and that you’re cheering them on has touched us deeply. We will cherish the memories with each and every one of you. To our Cal football brothers, thank you for looking out for us and for becoming part of our lives. Your support at our sporting events and the love you've shared means so much. The image of your smiling faces—whether getting off the bus, stepping off the field, coming out of meetings, or standing at our front door—is forever etched in our hearts. Though we may be moving on to new adventures, know that your influence remains. You’ve inspired us in more ways than you can imagine, and we’ll carry that forever. An hour and a half ago he had a huge Grand Mal Seizure where he stopped breathing and turned blue. The second he woke back up, he looked at me and said “Can I still go to school!?” Go get it baby boy, don’t let anything stop you! #epilepsywarrior #fightlikebryson #protectlikebrock #helmets4helmets

Bryson has had seizures up the wazoo lately. But what does he do usually less than an hour after having severe Grand Mal seizures where he will stop breathing even?! He’s going to school, he’s helping coach his little brother’s basketball team, he’s supporting and cheering his big brother at his football and basketball games, and hanging out with his bonus big brothers on Cal football. This kid keeps me going. Sometimes in life we need to fight for something that is bigger than ourselves, something that you can hold in your back pocket that keeps pushing and keeps your attack strong. Fight for each other, fight for your brother, Fight Like Bryson! You know who you are🥰! Bryson has been seizing so much lately and a lot this past weekend, he’s really working through it. I had to give him rescue medicine last night to try to get them to stop, was up 7 times to make sure he was still breathing, still BREATHING, while he was asleep and this morning, while still having seizures, refused to stay home and marched himself in to school. So, when you get down, you get tired, you think you can’t push any further, think about this image, think about Bryson fighting to breathe and a little bit later smiling on his way to kick a$$ in school.
