Tokenomics and participation in the Hedgewater DAO To: Hedgewater Associates From: George Zoros Date: 05-02-25 Over the last few weeks we have been discussing roles and participation with our community and participants. Today we want to make things official. The Hedgewater ecosystem has two types of participants: - Partners - LPs Briefly will be talking about roles and incentives for both of them here. Partners - Token holders that are in the top 100 token holders will be labelled as partners. - Partners will be eligible to participate in all Hedgewater-vetted presales on our ETFs product with a fixed allocation. - Partners will receive 50% of all token airdrops to Hedgewater DAO, while the DAO retains the other 50% to enhance investment value. - Revenue generated from ETF products will flow to the HWTR token, making partners direct beneficiaries. LPs While the first fund was seeded by George Zoros, Hedgewater Associates plans to raise additional funds to capture growing investment opportunities in the post-EVM world. - Individuals or funds will be designated as LPs only if they invest in future DAO funds. - LPs will benefit from Hedgewater Associates' social, human, and technological capital. - Upon redemption, LPs will receive their initial capital plus generated returns, minus the DAO's carry fees. - LPs are expected to bring valuable deals to the DAO, ensuring that both the community and DAO benefit from their network and efforts.
