Right, and I will give him this too. It was clean for a Super Bowl show, and that counts. It also wasn't flagrant agitprop, also a huge win. Still holding out for Weird Al to do next year's though.
Kendrick Lamar may not be your style music and that’s ok. But the dude came out sporting the American flag, everyone was fully clothed and there was no obvious signs of satanic worship. I understand our bar isn’t set high these days - but conservatives need to pick their battles. This was a W guys. Calm down.

@korinreid Nuance and accuracy are important :) The initial salvo was wrong, I agree with you there, but it's also disingenuous to claim that Raise Every Voice predates The Star Spangled Banner in either age or public visibility and consciousness, that's all. Have a good night đź’¤

@korinreid I disagree with anyone saying it was a creation of the more recent racial fomenting, that's demonstrably wrong. But I do think that's when it entered public consciousness for many. The whole thing is making a mountain out of a molehill, 100%, though.
