The library club children were excited to receive the first copy of our child friendly newspaper. Our reading ambassadors and librarians decided to spend some of the money we raised from our book sale earlier in the year to purchase the weekly subscription! @GreenwoodAcad

Our young voices group brought joy to the residents of Swan Gardens retirement home with their performance! They not only sang beautifully led by Mr Fortune but also shared their BSL (British Sign Language) learning. @GreenwoodAcad #music #corbycommunity

@SaferCorby Year 6 were visited by the Safer Communities Team from North Northamptonshire Council, who delivered a workshop about making the right choices and talking to trusted adults, including listening to their own bodies, knowing what’s right and what’s wrong @GreenwoodAcad

Year 6 have been learning about electric currents and the components needed to ensure the flow of electricity. They used knowledge in DT to create a card, which lights up using an electrical circuit, using the components: a battery, a bulb, copper tape and a switch. #SCIENCE

In Reception, we have had a wonderful start to this terms learning about space. The children have conducted an experiment to see how gravity works, worked in teams to build a rocket, tried astronaut food and looked at space suits. @GreenwoodAcad @PKCKST
